The upcoming DOT enforcement activity scheduled for May 12–14 is an important reminder that compliance begins well before inspection week. Preparation should not start the day before or even the week of the event. It should be part of your routine – now! Enforcement efforts will increase roadside inspections and place added attention on regulatory compliance, particularly Hours of Service. Taking the time today to ensure you are ready will help prevent violations, delays, and unnecessary stress during an inspection.
